The red splotches are less pronounced, and the softer textures remove an element that made the model from the N64 game that much more unsettling. In the 3DS remake of Ocarina of Time, Dead Hand’s model has been updated and arguably made less scary. They’re the same white and red as the main body and bend over to grab you while it attacks. While the arms attached to the main body end in stumps, the ‘hand’ part of its name comes from its many hands that sprout from the ground. It has a wide jaw with huge teeth which unhinges to bite you.
